Tanja Strangfeld

A South African national and a Managing Partner at SHC, Tanja splits her time between servicing her extensive client base in both the Middle East and Africa. She has recent and demonstrable experience in running major assessment campaigns for clients operating within various sectors across both continents.

A holder of numerous qualifications including an Honors in Counselling Psychology, an MBA as well as a diploma in Business Analysis, Tanja has been successfully helping major companies acquire, retain and develop their human capital.

She is an accredited practitioner of all major candidate assessment tools and sees her ability and capability in the development of talent management strategies, implementation of developmental and recruitment assessment centers as being core strengths.

Candice Davis

Candice is a South African national and a Senior Consultant at Somerset House Consulting servicing clients both in the Middle East and Africa.

Having started her career in 2007,  she has built an outstanding track record delivering on senior, complex and often confidential search mandates across a broad spectrum of various industries.

Candice has a vast experience in supporting businesses to ensure that they have the right talents at the right time and right place to meet businesses’ objectives. She has demonstrated experience in compiling search strategies to ensure attraction, development and retention of staff, with a keen interest in scarce skills roles.

Her more recent experience was within the Healthcare environment where there is a global shortage of scarce skills and which requires strategic direction and execution for its most important asset – the people.

As a specialist within multiple sectors, Candice has gained continued knowledge which she can leverage to provide her clients a competitive advantage within the market place.

Candice holds a Bachelor of Social Science degree in Organisational Psychology.

Dhen Eata-Hynes

Dhen’s career in administration and office operation began in the UAE in 2005, starting as an administrative assistant within a flourishing hospitality firm, leading to a broader role when she was approached by a business owner to manage the front office of a newly established real estate broker. From thereon, Dhen’s appointment within the real estate sector grew from being a Front Desk Assistant and Customer Liaison Administrator to Administration Manager overseeing the entire office operation and ensuring proper system implementation. She worked with both start-up and leading property brokers, delivering sales and leasing of residential and commercial units.

In 2015,  Dhen was offered a role at Somerset House Consulting under the same capacity but with bigger and more diverse team based in the UAE and South Africa. She works closely with the managing partners and senior consultants providing them with vital support required to deliver the services offered by SHC. Her expertise in managing the business operation covering the administration, finance and marketing, as well as complex HR issues, give her the edge to execute her role effectively and efficiently to this date.
